The ILM Introductory Certificate in First Line Management - Level 3

Talent For Business "FAST-TRACK" 5 day programme;

This comprehensive course is aimed at practising or potential First Line Managers who have at least two years relevant work experience. This qualification includes a Work-based Assignment (WBA) of no less than 1,000 words which should be submitted within one month of completing the tutored programme.  A full tutorial regarding WBAs will be given during the programme, and additional tutorial support will be provided as required.

This is an intensive, challenging and satisfying course, leading to a nationally recognised and accredited qualification. Candidates should also be prepared to undertake evening study for the programme during the course of the tutored week.

Day 3

0900 - 1200 Using Information for Decisions
1200 - 1600 Motivation (Break for Luncheon included)
1600 - 1730 Presentations - Group 2

Day 4

0900 - 1200 Implementing Change
1200 - 1600 Planning Change (Break for Luncheon included)
1600 - 1630 Segment Reviews - Coaching/Influencing and Negotiating
1630 - 1730 Tutorial Help for Work Based Assignment

Day 5

0900 - 1200 Building the Team
1200 - 1600 Communication Process (Break for Luncheon included
1600 - 1700 Segment Reviews - Motivation/Implementing Change

Tea/coffee and lunch breaks are provided throughout the day.

This programme can be run over five consecutive days or alternatively over six separate days, or over a longer time period (e.g. 6 or 12 months) to minimise disruption to staffing levels.
